what is a headshot day?

you're a business owner, or you have a side-hustle.

you know you need a good photo to represent what you do,

but you keep putting it off.

headshot day is an easy way to get this off your

to-do list 30 minutes and some prep time, easily done :)

30 minutes + 5 high-res edited photos - $295

Maybe you don’t have the budget for a full branding shoot yet?
Or you’re wanting to lose weight, find better clothes, new hair etc?
Being ‘you’ is ok, the world doesn’t need perfect.
You hate having your photo taken. Yep, 99% of people feel this way.

It’s never easy having your photo taken, I still squirm. But have faith that you’ll get through it and probably have some fun. I’m warm, relaxed and not judgy.

how it works

You’ll have a 20 min photoshoot in my light-filled studio space in Bega (near the Bega Valley Shire Council).

During our session, you can choose more than one setting for your photos and you can opt for standing, sitting, with props and maybe even an outfit change. In most cases I say, the simpler the better. I’ll have a variety of coloured background options and tables, chairs, etc.

5 days after the shoot you’ll receive a web gallery with all your images, you just ‘star’ your favs and I send you the final photoshopped versions within 2 days. And if you want to buy a few extra, no probs, they’ll be $60 each.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's in the space?

The studio space is a simple room with natural light and concrete floors. I’ll have a few chairs, plants and tables available and you’re welcome to bring things along. Keep in mind it’s best to keep the setup simple so we aren’t wasting valuable shooting time creating a ‘set’.
What should I wear?

Dress like you on a good day. Find clothes that make you feel great and are flattering; don’t try to be someone you’re not as it will show in the photos.
Make sure your clothes match the feeling of your brand, are you more corporate or earthy, etc.
Is hair and makeup included?

It isn’t included, but feel free to book if this makes you feel good and more photoshoot ready.
We’re all different, some people don’t feel like ‘them’ with someone else doing their hair and makeup, and some feel the reverse and must have it done.
What props should I bring?

You don’t have to bring a prop, simple is also great. You can bring an element from your own space/office that makes the scene look more like yours.
It could be as simple as a few fav books, a laptop if you are at your desk a lot, or flowers and some sectors if you’re a florist, etc.
We have a team, can they come?

I can make space for two people in one photo, but I’d recommend booking two spaces back to back so we also have time to cover some individual headshots.
